It was a busy and exciting week here at SMUS. Many students who ran for various Prefect roles were given the results this past week. All of us at Harvey are excited for our boys who were successful in their bid to become next year’s SMUS Prefects. We can’t wait to see their contributions to the school community in the coming year.
We were also blessed with great weather over the long weekend and were able to take advantage. The Victoria Day long weekend in Victoria is often when families get outside and enjoy the weather. Many even practice the tradition of a first lake swim of the season this weekend. While most of our boys likely will opt out of a swim in a Canadian lake this early into our warm months… there was still plenty to do on and off campus this weekend. Some of the boys enjoyed Paintball, and baking chocolate mug cakes, while others used their free time to head downtown or to the local recreation centres and beaches (again… we doubt anyone chose to swim!)
